Eggs are also rich in choline, which promotes your baby’s overall growth and brain health, while helping prevent neural tube defects. Some eggs even contain omega 3 fats important for both brain and vision development. (Brands that have omega-3s will probably state it on the label. Look for DHA-enriched eggs because those contain the most beneficial form of omega-3s.)


Baked SalmonSalmon the protein rich fish is the bets diet during pregnancy. It will fulfill all the protein demand in the body and will energize the body function as well. In case you are not comfortable in having it every day have it twice a week, but not less then that please. It is a must included during the last trimester of pregnancy.

Beans and Pulses

Go for seasonal fruits and, have them at least thrice a day. Having a heavy meal is not important in pregnancy, but a healthy meal is. Therefore have fruits as much as you can. Don’t go for papaya, pomegranate, grapes, apples are good choices for you.

Whole Grain and Cereals


Whole grains are need of body to get energy to work and all other things therefore having them in your diet charts it necessary. If you are much into junk food or fast food, then stay away from them at least during pregnancy. Then only you can be a healthy mother to deliver a healthy child.
